Saturdays 26 November and Sign up for Song Hong 2011

Saturday runs 26 November and 3 December

We have had some great runs the last few Saturdays, and the request for routes are coming in. Some like to get muddy at the river and others want to do a section of the half marathon route. As the weather forecast predicts a fair amount of rain,  the plan is as follows:

  • 26 November 3.55pm, meeting point Jafa restaurant, Ciputra. The long run will be 17 km of the half marathon route. There will be a turn-around point for those wanting 10km. Shorter runs (7km, 5km) are in Ciputra or at least close to.
  • 3 December 3.55pm, meeting point Sedona entrance, To Ngoc Van street. All runs will go to the river banks and we’ll all be dirty.
Refreshments will be organised at nearby drinks serving facilities.

Wednesday speed work

We have seen soaring numbers and will just keep it going in the usual routine for the next three weeks. We meet at the gates of Sedona entrance at Wednesdays 8.15pm and finish around 9pm after roughly 6 km of running at various pace.  A few runners join to add kilometers afterwards depending on training schedules. See you tonight!

Song Hong registration evening this Friday 25 November at JOMA!

As advertised we have an in-person sign-up event at our Sponsor Joma Cafe on To Ngoc Van street. If you haven’t registered already, please drop in and see us between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
