Sat 19th run, Wednesday speedwork and more

This Saturday’s run (19th November) goes from JAFA restaurant, Ciputra. Meet at 3.55pm. After last week’s highly successful Westlake loop, Sune will again lead routes from 7km, 10km & 18km. All levels and paces will be accommodated for – the emphasis is on distance and not on pace. Ian will be back to lead a 5km group as part of his continuing program of tailored runs to suit occassional, beginners and anyone seeking to build up to greater distances or a higher level of fitness. This is always an enjoyable experience.

Hydration sessions for all will take place at JAFA afterwards.

Wednesday Speed Training is tonight at 8.15pm – as usual meeting at Sedona entrance on To Ngoc Van. This is a great way to increase your lung capacity, with some high intensity intervals by the lake. All fitness levels are welcome – the group is growing!

Song Hong 2011 – have you seen the route yet? We’ve posted it on the Song Hong 2011 page of the blog . If you haven’t seen this month’s copy of The Word magazine, the RRR have got a full page feature !!!

  1. Des says:

What time do the individual events start.

  2. Hi Des – if you’re referring to the Saturday run, everyone sets off at 4pm.

Regarding the Song Hong 2011 half mararthon- the exact schedule has yet to be confirmed, but all events except the kids fun run will be underway early in the morning – probably around 8am. The fun run usually takes place when all half marathon runners have returned.
